Hello everyone,
Just so everyone knows I’m a huge Hellboy fan and I have been for a long time. I initially collected all the comics, but once I stopped collecting comics and transitioned to hardcover reprints, I got all of the library editions which I find to be a better reading experience.
Now there’s a new film coming out in September for Hellboy with a new cast and crew. It’s been a while since I’ve read, The Crooked Man, story by Mike Mignola, and Richard Corben, but I do remember enjoying it along with everything else Hellboy, so I’m looking forward to seeing this movie :D
Now some people online have been making a big deal about how Hellboy looks, and how the special effects look cheap etc. I would really like it to get to a point where we can just wait until something comes out before judging it, just so we can get some clicks and views for creating nothing. My feelings are that this film needs to be one thing and one thing only and that’s good, if it’s good I’m more than happy to forgive baby faced Hellboy. Not to mention that this story line takes place in 1958, so yeah, maybe they wanted someone who had little less wear and tear on them to represent a more youthful looking Hellboy. I’m looking forward to it and I’m sure I’ll end up owning the Blu-ray / 4K disc when it comes out. So, let me know what you think, are you looking forward to seeing Hellboy, The Crooked Man?

And my latest Kickstarter is coming to an end in a couple of days so if you want to go check it out here is the link to My Time with Clive vol 1: http://kck.st/3VpGXAV
Here’s a page I got from Jade Gonzalez this week for the story she’s currently working on, A Country Knight In NYC
This is a page I got back from Edgar Tavatis; he’s coloring this story that was illustrated by Eryono Tillis called: When Tender Souls Mourn.
The other thing I’ve been up to is putting together a campaign for a title I never thought I would ever be able to finish, but I think I may be able to. It’s called Dream Weavers, and it was one of the first books I ever produced way back in the day with artist Mathew Lunsford. I re-lettered, touched up, and had the whole thing colored for this and I’m really looking forward to this coming out. It’s in review at KS now and once that process is done, I’ll be putting up the sign-up page, so keep an eye out and here’s a couple of covers and pages for your entertainment :D
Thank you all for being awesome.
